We tested these to sell in our fiber art store! The yarn turned out beautifully! Looking forward to carrying these for our customers!
The jar, instructions and dye packs worked beautifully. The dye was very true to color advertised. Loved it
I love the dye packs! The are so easy to use. As easy as making a cup of tea! The results are always stunning, rich beautiful colors. Thank you so much!
The colors are gorgeous, and the dye kit makes dyeing your own yarn so easy and simple - no mess! I am having a blast dyeing yarn with these "tea bags" of lovely-ness.
The prescribed amount of water to use with the dye preparation was different on the dye packet from what was said in the instructions folder, by 2 cups - as a percentage, 20 to 25 percent, a significant number. And the color patches on the dye envelope and in the folder not only don’t look like the results, they differ from each other.
The palette is GORGEOUS and results are spot on with color chip included on packaging. The ease of using these dyes is phenomenal, and the results are spectacular.
This is the easiest dye to use. The plum color was spot on and luscious. I have used Abundant Earth dyes a number of times and love everything about them!
I *love* the wool tincture dyes and am gradually working my way through most of the colours on offer. They're perfect for someone who isn't super interested in dyeing and is working in a very small space, and an excellent option for changing things up a bit if you have accumulated a lot of natural coloured yarn. I'm currently dyeing handspun for a weaving project and I love the amount of choice and control that these dye tinctures offer.
I had a couple cones of yarn in a color I didn’t really love so I decided to try and over dye them. The new color of yarn I got using the dye was perfect and it was so easy to do!
I love, love, love the easy peasy dye packs I get from Abundant Earth Fiber! they are true to color, easy to use and make dying a breeze!

Love the simplicity of the dye process. Clear instructions and super great colors! I have so much fun with these dyes. Also, fast shipping.
I used the packet to dye Coopworth white locks and white merino/silk roving. Both breeds took the dye exceptionally well. Love the addition to your color palette. Thank you!!!
Love the simplicity of the dye process. The Swaledale roving took the dye easily. Center roving in the photo.
Thank you!
This was a very pretty set of dye! I did get a gold color instead of the green listed, but it was perfect on my gray Gotland yarn. I have used these dyes many times and always have outstanding results
I bought these to over dye a sweater that the dye lots were not a match on. The color came out beautiful! I did have to buy a second round of the same color because my sweater ended up too patchy for my liking but would have looked really awesome as a tonal if it were dyed as a skein rather than a sweater. But after the second round of dye my sweater has new life and will be worn! The dye struck beautifully and the water came clear and nothing bled at all when I went to rinse. Really high quality and worked great for what I needed it to!
I cannot say enough great things about this dye kit. So super convenient, extremely easy instructions to follow and the dyes are wonderful. This was my very first time trying anything like this. Explanations and videos were super helpful and results came out perfect. I can’t wait to do some more!
I'm really excited to have found a source for natural dyes, with such an extensive color range, and such an easy-to-follow and foolproof process! I would love to have used the malbec color on a gray or white yarn/material, but as it turned out I had a couple of magpie fibers equinox (linen/silk) skeins in bougie beaver that I wanted to overdye. I am not super knowledgeable on how one color affects another, so malbec seemed like a viable choice. The bronze-y undertones are still there, not surprisingly, but the result was a beautiful brick red that I will be much happier with. I'm looking forward to more opportunities to use this dye, whether on yarn or clothing.
Easy to use, dyes nicely! Not tremendously cost effective, but then, it’s not out of line with today’s pricing. Great service. I was impressed!
First time dying wool, I use 3 ply Horned Dorset yarn and the colors are amazing. Woodland was deep and rich, with a bluish tone that is stunning. The Lilac is just what I expected, light violet color. The color was even throughout. The directions were clear and the process was easy; no mess, no harmful residual dye down the drain. I will definitely be buying more.
Water is in short supply at my house because it comes by way of rainwater catchment - and it's been a dry winter. I don't dare undertake dyeing in large quantities. For a few skeins, though, the Abundant Earth Fiber dye system is ideal because a true dye kitchen is not needed and the water requirements per skein are quite modest.
